NexLvl Charlotte (nexlvlcharlotte.com) is a Charlotte, NC city guide operated by NexLvl Charlotte LLC. We help locals and newcomers discover neighborhoods, dining, events, shopping, and the culture that makes the Queen City move.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect information you voluntarily give us or that is generated through normal site use.

• VIP Insider Pass signups: Name, email address, phone number, and neighborhood preferences you enter on the /vip-pass form.
• Advertiser applications: Business name, contact name, email, phone, website URL, and your advertising goal when you submit an application at /advertise/apply.
• Payment information: Billing and payment details are collected and processed directly by Stripe. NexLvl Charlotte never stores your full card number.
• Usage data: Standard web analytics such as pages visited, time on site, browser type, and referring URL. This data is aggregated and anonymous.
• Communications: If you email us, we retain that correspondence to respond to you.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Send you your VIP Insider Pass and related city-guide updates you opted into.
• Review and respond to advertiser applications.
• Process payments and manage your advertising subscription via Stripe.
• Send transactional emails (application confirmations, approval or denial notices, billing receipts).
• Improve the site based on anonymous usage patterns.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in (where applicable), remember your preferences, and analyze traffic. Analytics data is used in aggregate only. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time; some site features may not work as expected without them.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's privacy policy.
• Convex — backend database and serverless functions hosting your submitted data.
• Macaly — hosting and email delivery infrastructure for this site.
• YouTube (Google) — embedded videos. YouTube may set its own cookies when you play a video.
• SlickText — SMS marketing (if you opt in via keyword). Subject to SlickText's privacy policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide the services you signed up for or as required by law. If you'd like your data deleted, email us at bmk@nexlvlcharlotte.com and we will remove it within 30 days, subject to any legal retention requirements.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

• Correct inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Opt out of marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email we send.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but take the protection of your data seriously.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
